The Chandlery
13th Century European candle-makers, known as Chandlers, traversed door to door fashioning candles from kitchen fats and eventually beeswax.
The 4th Wick chandlery found its roots in a similar manner, via casual kitchen dabbling for friends and family. Our recipes are since tried, true and bound in love.
Born in the heart of Austin, Texas — Independently owned and operated since 2019. All Fourth Wick candles are hand poured in small batches, signed, sealed and fully developed at our chandlery in South Austin.

Crafted with care for a refined home fragrance experience from natural ingredients.
Our braided natural-fiber cotton wicks are zinc free, minimizing smoke and soot. All-natural soy wax is entirely vegan and sustainably-harvested, free of paraffin and other additives. Our weighted glass tumblers are lead free, crystal clear, and made in one of America’s oldest operating glassware facilities. The glass is natural and untreated, meaning no film coating, paint, or artificial frosting-effects that are potentially toxic when exposed to direct heat.
Fragrance and essential oils are phthalate free and fully comply with IFRA standards. Fourth Wick candles are natural in color and contain no dying agents.
Fourth Wick candles are backed by an eco-forward mentality. Our mission is to share a quality product that is clean, natural, and safe to enjoy. All ingredients have been carefully curated and obtained from ethically inclined and environmentally-sustainable sources.
